This is the story about a new unit to the U.S. Army that made its own history in a town called Muqdadiyah. The Troopers came from all over the Army and from all walks of life. For 15 months between October 2006 and December 2007, they were in the fight of their lives. Seventeen Troopers from 6-9 CAV and nine more from other units lost their lives fighting for the freedom of people who couldn't fight for themselves. I will use this blog to tell their story, keep their memory alive, and give others the oportunity to provide their comments.
